Who we represent
ACTOEA represents the interests of ACT and regional outdoor educators at the Outdoor Education Australia (OEA) with a flow on to the Outdoor Council of Australia (OCA). We are therefore actively involved in the continuing process of training and development and promoting the outdoor profession. ACTOEA is also actively involved in the discussion and resolution of relevant issues in the outdoor profession, such as Area Access, Professional Standards, Instructor Registration, Organisational Accreditation, and Mandatory Procedures. We are here to represent the interests of all those engaged in the outdoor profession in our region: school based outdoor educators, outdoor experiential program providers, outdoor recreation providers, and freelance outdoor leaders.
